Research interests: Charge dynamic of Opto-electronics
Mr Yongmin Luo obtained his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Liverpool, UK, with First Class Honor and majored in Electrical Engineering. After that, he moved to the Department of Physics, Blackett Laboratory, Imperial College London, UK, to pursue his Master degree in Optics and Photonics. Within ICL, he finished his final project under Prof. Ji-Seon Kim’s supervision and focused on Organic Solar Cell degradation based on Raman spectroscopy. He, now, focuses on many ultrafast spectroscopy technologies, including Transient Absorption Spectroscopy (TAS), Pump-push-probe Spectroscopy (PPP), Femtosecond Stimulated Raman Spectroscopy (FSRS), fs-TRPL based on Up-conversion method, and have much experience on many X-ray based technologies, such as (Grading-incident) Wide Angle X-ray Scattering ((GI)WAXS), (Grading-incident) Small Angle X-ray Scattering ((GI)SAXS). He is now working on the charge carriers dynamic at the Donor/Acceptor interface of organic semiconductors and designing some advanced setups for understanding the degradation mechanisms of the interface in organic devices.
