Yunze SHI
PhD student (2026fall)
Yunze Shi is currently a Ph.D. student in Prof. Wu Jiaying’s research group at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), under the co-supervision of Professor Chen. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Beijing Normal University and a master’s degree from the National University of Singapore.
His current doctoral research centers on building next-generation Femtosecond Stimulated Raman Spectroscopy (FSRS) systems to directly track structural, vibrational, and electronic dynamics in real-time. By leveraging high-resolution ultrafast spectroscopy, his work aims to achieve precise optical initialization and readout of molecular qubits, contributing to the fundamental understanding and development of molecular-based quantum computing and quantum information storage.
